School Disco, Thursday 25th May

Just before the May half-term the final disco of the year was enjoyed by 200 children in total, raising the roof with their singing and dancing whilst generating £536.64 for the FOBPS funds to donate straight back into school activities and resources for the children.

Cake Stalls

The cake stall cup has reached its conclusion!

  • 1st Place: Reception class with £161 raised
  • 2nd Place: Year 1 with £153.68 raised
  • 3rd place: Year 5 with £126 raised

Miss West’s Reception class are the champions with £161 raised – this smashes all previous records for one stall and is even more amazing considering there is just 1 class for that year group, well done everyone!

This means 2022/23 was our most successful cake stall year yet, with a grand total of £871.88 raised for FOBPS funds, and approximately 1743 cakes sold!

Thank you to everyone who donated cake, and to all of you who came and bought cake throughout the year!

Bag2School collection, Thurs 22nd June.

FOBPS receive payment for every kg of unwanted clothes and accessories collected.  This final collection of the year raised £50; thank you to everyone who donated.

From September, we hope to replace this collection service with a clothing bank situated in the school car park, available for donations 24/7; watch this space!

Sports Day Cafe

FOBPS were selling refreshments and snacks throughout the morning on the school sports field up until the rain shower sent everyone ducking for cover!  Despite this, the cafe raised £30.

New parents meeting

FOBPS were pleased to attend the parents meeting for the new reception children and set up a New to You uniform sale; it was lovely to see lots of eager faces coming in to see their new school and be able to tell them all about the events organised by FOBPS and extra support that is provided to the children of BPS through the PTA funds raised.

Break the Rules Day & Ice Lolly sale after school, Friday 14th July

There were a lot of rules broken this penultimate Friday of the summer term!  With 50p per rule break the children raised an awesome £284.40 – we will let you do the maths and work out how many broken rules that is!

After school, we sold Ice Lollies outside school main office and made £90 for the FOBPS pot.
